Supply of Product

The customer must be aware that turf is a living and highly perishable product that must be laid within 24 hours of collection or delivery. Westcountry Turf will not accept any responsibility for deterioration. It is the customers responsibility to ensure you are able to lay the turf before agreeing delivery date.

Turf should be inspected whilst being laid and any turf found to be unsatisfactory to be rejected before laying takes place. If the customer is dissatisfied with the product, then a complaint must be made via email within 48 hours of collection/delivery. If a refund is requested, the product must be returned to the company within 5 working days of the complaint being logged.

The product becomes responsibility of the customer once collected/delivered. Turf is a living and perishable product, and it is the customers responsibility to maintain the ongoing health and quality of the turf. After such time the company shall no longer be liable for loss, damage or deterioration of the product.

The company will not be responsible for faults arising with the turf due to customers failure to care for the turf or external products.

We do not guarantee turf free of pests but use all possible natural practices to minimise them.

Delivery

There will be a delivery charge which will be calculated, when delivery is over 50 miles.

The company will make every effort to deliver the product on agreed delivery date. But if for any reason the company can’t make the agreed delivery date the company will not accept any responsibility for delay or damages relating to the delay.

Delivery is strictly to kerbside. Any customer that requests a Westcountry Vehicle shall leave the public highway to carry out delivery shall be responsible for any damage caused to the property or any 3rd party property. If a Westcountry Turf vehicle is to leave the public highway, Westcountry Turf will be responsible for any damage caused to delivery vehicle, however if the delivery vehicle becomes stuck due to lack of traction, it will be the customers responsibility to return the delivery vehicle back to the public highway.

Collections

The customer must be fully aware that the companies’ premises is a busy working farm, with associated vehicles and machinery, the company cannot accept any liability for any damage or loss caused either when loading or while the customer is on the premises of the company.

It is the customers responsibility to report any shortages of the product before leaving the premises. After such time the company will not accept any liability to correct any differences in the products quantity.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is not overloaded.

The product is to be paid for in full by cash or banks transfer before being loaded into customer vehicle.

Cancellation

The customer has the right to cancel any order. Any cancellation must be made within 3 days of the date the order was placed.

Order Amendments

Any order amendments must be made before the order has been dispatched. We are unable to amend orders after they have been dispatched.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

At Westcountry Turf we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the product and services you have requested from us. We will not share any of your personal information for marketing purposes outside of our business.
