West Country Turf is based near Winkleigh in beautiful North Devon. We have been growing the highest quality turf from seed since 2010. We are now growing and cutting over 20,0000m² every year (that's the same as 27 football pitches!).
Our turf is grown for 15 to 18 months before harvesting. Throughout this growth period it's treated with the upmost care to produce the highest quality turf.
We supply turf to domestic and commercial clients across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and beyond. We are also able to install the turf we grow for domestic gardens throughout Devon. Our turf is weed free and is of the highest quality available.

How Much Turf Do You Need?
It's not always easy to know how much turf you need for your lawn, that's why we've created the simple calculator below. In your experience it's always best to order approximatelt 10% more than you're total area to allow for any cuts needed when laying the turf. Simply enter the length and width of your lawn and we'll do the rest.

What makes our Turf so Good?
Our turf is grown from seed which makes it slow growing, requiring mowing once a week, rather than the 3 times a week that meadow turf can do. Seeded turf is also a lot harder wearing than meadow turf. We have developed a very hard wearing thick dense turf suitable for families and dogs.
The turf we produce is grown for 15 to 18 months before harvesting. Throughout this growth period it's treated with the utmost care to produce the highest quality turf. We also weed treat the turf twice a year, ensuring the healthiest turf available when it is laid in gardens!
