Our premium turf is grown from seed in our fields in North Devon. Seeded turf is both slower growing and harder wearing than meadow turf, making it suitable for families and dogs.
Our prices quoted include free delivery within a 50 mile radius of our depot in Winkleigh. You can also collect turf from us. We also price a turf laying service. Minimum order for delivery is 14 mtr2. If you are further than 50 miles from us, delivery is charged at £1 / mile above 50 miles. Distances are calculated from our depot in Beaford, North Devon

Description
What makes our Turf so Good?
Our turf is grown from seed which makes it slower growing and more hard wearing than meadow turf. We have developed a very hard wearing thick dense turf suitable for families and dogs.
The turf we produce is grown for 15 to 18 months before harvesting. Throughout this growth period it's treated with the utmost care to produce the highest quality turf. We also weed treat the turf twice a year, ensuring the healthiest turf available when it is laid in gardens!
West Country Turf is based near Winkleigh in beautiful North Devon. We have been growing the highest quality turf from seed since 2010. We are now growing and cutting over 20,0000m² every year (that's the same as 27 football pitches!).
How Much Turf Do You Need?
It's not always easy to know how much turf you need for your lawn, that's why we've created the simple calculator below. In your experience it's always best to order approximatelt 10% more than you're total area to allow for any cuts needed when laying the turf. Simply enter the length and width of your lawn and we'll do the rest.
